Sri Lanka Railway Department has decided to introduce a new intercity express train between Colombo Fort and Kandy to meet the long-standing needs of commuters.
According to the sources, proposed train stops of the new service are,
- Colombo Fort
- Polgahawela
- Rambukkana
- Kandy
